Freedom Friday: Standing in Your Worth
“Our sense of self-worth is the single most important determinant of the health, abundance, and joy we allow into our lives.”
— Dan Millman
Pause here for a moment:
Breathe in deeply… exhale slowly… again, breathe in… exhale… one more time, breathe in… exhale...
Notice what it feels like to be fully present.
Self-worth is not about perfection—it’s about honoring your value, your voice, and your unique contribution.
Definition check:
Self-worth: the internal sense of being good enough and worthy of love, belonging, and success.
It fuels confidence, resilience, and the courage to lead authentically.
On a scale of 1–10, how do you rate your current sense of self-worth?
What evidence supports the score you gave yourself?
As Iyanla Vanzant reminds us:
“What you tell yourself you are, you will be. What you allow yourself to be reflects what you have told yourself you are.”
What are you telling yourself today?
And more importantly—does that story elevate or limit you?
Worthy: deserving, valuable, and of great merit.
Life constantly invites us to move through challenges, release what no longer serves us, and recreate ourselves with intention. As Oprah Winfrey says:
“Only make decisions that support your self-image, self-esteem, and self-worth.”
Today’s Challenge:
Identify one thought, belief, behavior, or relationship that undermines your sense of worth—and release it. Replace it with a new commitment that affirms your value.
For deeper reflection, consider these prompts (adapted from 20 Questions to Increase Self Confidence):
What are you most proud of achieving in your life?
Which challenges have you overcome that once felt impossible?
What are your greatest strengths, talents, and qualities that deserve recognition?
Who uplifts, supports, and believes in you—and how do you allow that truth to shape your identity?
If you had all the confidence in the world, what bold step would you take today?
Remember:
“Self-worth sets the standard that life meets.” — Jewel
So, what standard are you willing to set?
Be intentional. Encourage others to do the same. Lead by example.
What does standing fully in your worth look like for you—and how might that inspire your team, your organization, or even your community?
Don’t miss your opportunity. Claim it. Live it. Lead it.
