Wednesday Wisdom | Executive Reflections with Coach Tavia, PCC
“Being busy has almost become our identity – we think the busier we are, the more impressive we seem – it’s a story we tell ourselves every day. Now is the time we changed all that.”
— Alistair Cox
Good Morning, Leaders—
Let me ask you a question I often ask my clients during a coaching session:
Are you busy… or are you being intentional?
In a culture where hustle is glorified, we rarely pause to consider:
Is this activity aligned with my core values?
Am I leading from purpose, or performing from pressure?
As a PCC-level coach, I’ve witnessed high-performing professionals and executives come to a realization: “Busy” is not a badge of honor—it’s often a barrier to meaning, fulfillment, and impact.
So, here’s your reflection challenge today:
What are you saying “yes” to that no longer serves your vision or values?
When was the last time you prioritized something that actually recharges you?
What would it look like to lead yourself—and your team—from clarity, not chaos?
Coaching Tool:
Make a two-column list:
Column A: “Energizers” – activities that fuel you.
Column B: “Depleters” – activities that drain or distract you.
Then ask: What can I delegate, defer, or delete to make space for what matters most?
Remember: Time isn’t just money—it’s meaning. Steward it with care.
Lead with intention. Live with alignment. The world doesn’t need a busier you—it needs a braver, bolder, more present you.
You got this!
