FREEDOM FRIDAY | Coach Tavia, PCC
“Unexpected kindness is the most powerful, least costly, and most underrated agent of human change.”
— Bob Kerrey
Good Day Leaders,
As we navigate uncertainty, tension, and the demands of leadership in a polarized world, this quote calls us back to the core of what transforms culture: human connection.
What might shift in your team, organization—or even your own mindset—if kindness became a strategic leadership tool, not just a random act?
Think back:
When was the last time someone surprised you with a moment of genuine kindness?
What impact did it have on your mood, your mindset… your motivation?
As coaches and conscious leaders, we know: small actions have exponential ripple effects.
Kindness, especially when undeserved or unexpected, is a form of emotional intelligence in action—it demonstrates presence, empathy, and courage.
Challenge for today:
Be intentional. Offer one meaningful, unsolicited act of kindness—to a colleague, a stranger, or even that person who tests your patience.
Then pause and reflect:
What did you notice?
How did it shift the energy—yours and theirs?
What conversations did it open up?
In a world craving authenticity, kindness is radical.
Let your presence be the kindness that disrupts someone’s narrative.
You got this!
