Monday Madness:

What might shift for you if you trusted yourself as deeply as you trust your fears?

Know that you are good. Know that you deserve to experience good things. Trust that good is on your side, and good shall be done unto you.Iyanla Vanzant

Happy Monday and welcome to the first full week of August!

This month, our theme is FAITH.

Faith is often associated with believing in something greater than ourselves. Yet faith also invites us to trust the strength, wisdom, and resilience that already exist within us—even when the path ahead is uncertain.

Before we continue, let’s take a moment to pause:

-Take a slow, deep breath in… and gently exhale.

Again…

-Take a slow, deep breath in… and gently exhale.

One more time...

-Take a slow, deep breath in… and gently exhale.

Allow yourself to become fully present.

Now ask yourself:

What story am I believing about myself today?

When criticism shows up—whether from others or from our own inner voice—it can either become a barrier or a bridge.

As coaches, we understand that awareness precedes choice. Constructive feedback, when received with curiosity rather than defensiveness, can expand perspective, strengthen emotional intelligence, and accelerate personal and professional growth.

The goal isn’t to avoid criticism.

The opportunity is to decide what we do with it.

As you begin this new week, consider reflecting on these questions—and perhaps discuss them with your team:

What belief about yourself requires more faith than fear?

When you receive feedback, what helps you remain curious instead of becoming defensive?

How might you offer feedback that preserves dignity while encouraging growth in others?

As leaders, parents, colleagues, coaches, and community members, we help shape environments where people either shrink or flourish. Our words matter. Our mindset matters. And our faith—in ourselves and in one another—matters.

This week, choose to lead with courage, extend grace, remain coachable, and trust the process of becoming.

Today’s Challenge:

  1. Believe in your potential before you see the evidence.

  2. Be intentional... Encourage someone else... Notice what changes...

Remember: Faith doesn’t eliminate uncertainty—it gives you the courage to move forward anyway.

Wishing you a week filled with purpose, possibility, and peace.

You’ve got this!
