Freedom Friday

Freedom Friday | The Final Friday of July
As we close the month of Understanding, I invite you to pause before rushing into August’s theme of Faith.
“Trust is earned, respect is given, and loyalty is demonstrated. Betrayal of any of these is to lose all three.”
— Ziad K. Abdelnour
Good morning!
This quote reminds us that trust isn’t built by intentions alone—it is built through consistent choices, courageous conversations, and actions that align with our values.
Leadership begins with self-leadership.
John C. Maxwell often teaches that integrity is the foundation of trust, respect, and lasting influence.
Brené Brown’s research echoes this, describing integrity as choosing courage over comfort and practicing our values—not simply professing them.
As coaches, leaders, parents, partners, and colleagues, our credibility grows when our words and actions consistently align.
Take a moment to reflect:
On a scale of 1-10, how well do your daily actions reflect the values you say matter most?
Where might you be choosing comfort over courage?
What is one intentional action you can take today to strengthen trust—with yourself or with someone else?
Integrity isn’t measured by the size of the decision.
A “little white lie” is still a lie.
A small compromise is still a compromise.
Every choice either strengthens or weakens the foundation you’re building.
As July comes to a close, perhaps the greatest understanding we can carry into August is this:
Faith grows strongest when it is rooted in integrity.
When we consistently honor our values—even when no one is watching—we create the conditions for trust, meaningful relationships, and sustainable success.
As we enter a new month, may we have the faith to keep showing up with courage, compassion, and authenticity—even in uncertain times.
Remember: Your reputation is what others say about you. Your integrity is what you practice when no one is watching—and that is where trust begins.
Have a wonderful Freedom Friday!
